Update Agent Certificate

Seeking advice and/or clarification on how one goes about updating the certca.pem that is used during agent deployment. Planning ahead...once the certificate expires, what is the process of updating the agents?

Do we need to build a new package with a new certificate and redeploy all agents?

Hi,

With AD environment use a computer GPO to deploy a new certificate.

Deploy a new certificate via GPO or deploy the updated package (that includes new certificate) via GPO?

Still trying to grasp how all this ties together.

So, if we issue a certificate from our Windows CA to our OCS Inventory server and all Windows clients already have our Corporate Root CA trusted...do we still need to update anything on the agent side?
