Unable to install the agent on Windows

Question

Hello everyone

I have a problem. When I install the agent on a windows machine it does not register with OCS Server. I do not know what I'm doing wrong. This is the txt summary of the installation:

This is not the log agent. You can find it in c:\programdata\ocs inventory ng\agent\

Hi,

Agent is good installed, but his configuration is bad. In log, we can see :

COM SERVER => Sending HTTP Post request to URL <http://127.0.0.1/ocsinventory>

WARNING *** COM SERVER => Failed to send HTTP Post request <Couldn't connect to server>

When you installed agent, you have specified a wrong ip adress for your ocs server.

uninstall agent, delete folders C:\ProgramData\OCS Inventory NG and C:\Program Files (x86)\OCS Inventory Agent

Then retry installing agent with the good IP or name of your ocs server

Is your server started ? From a browser try to access http://10.0.2.15/ocsinventory. If the result is error 404 then your server is not well configured or started.

OCS Server 2.8, OS Ubuntu 20.04.1. Yes, the firewall is enabled. Although I did test disabling the firewall. But it didn't work either. I'm missing something?
