I changed the URL of the OCS Server, How do I change the URL of the OCS Agent in the Windows registry?

The URL of the agent is stored in the file ocsinventory.ini and not in registry.

The setting is in the directory C:\ProgramData\OCS inventory NG\Agent\ocsinventory.ini

Hi

I created a .bat file by calling the ocs inventory installer with the parameters ex:

OCS-NG-Windows-Agent-Setup.exe / server = (my url) / ocsinventory / now

Then it is possible to create an .exe from this .bat file.

Hi,

you can also create a script for a final change:

- Stopping the ocsinventory service,
- Replace the server address in the ocsinventory.ini file,
- Starting the ocsinventory service.

It could be initiated by the server ocsinventory BEFORE its change of address ...
